About Us
As Mad As A Hatter offers a unique mobile afternoon tea service with freshly made cakes, sandwiches and scones, and of course, a dash of ‘madness’ thrown in. Brought straight to your table, all you need to do is supply hot water and milk, and of course, enjoy!
I am a small, home-based business offering a unique service in and around the area of Stoke-on-Trent. All occasions are catered for, whether it be at home or your business premises, spend an hour or two journeying down the rabbit hole where riddles are rife and of course, it is always tea time!

Would highly recommended Alex, from the minute I messaged her via Facebook, she was polite and helpful and willing to help organise my hen party.
She was great when it came to sandwich choices as I’m very fussy and was great with providing vegetarian options too.
She was very prompt on the day of setting up and everything was beautifully set out and presented.
Everything tasted delicious too, sandwiches, cakes, tray bakes!
I was really impressed and very happy with everything, nothing could of made in any better.
I will be recommending Alex to everyone I know and will be in touch for and future events!

Well, that’s a wrap! I’m now closed until mid May... I started doing the takeaway afternoon tea option ( instead of the usual tea set up that I do) last May... so nearly 12 months ago! It’s been absolutely amazing the response I have had. I just wanted to thank you all so much for your continued support through such a difficult year that we’ve all had. ❤️ it’s truly been an honour to deliver these teas to yourselves & your loved ones, who you’ve been unable to see & share a tea with. Some of the messages I’ve written on your boxes, have brought a tear to my eye. I hope that they have found some pleasure & enjoyment in receiving them & I certainly hope that in the not too distant future, you will be able to share one together ❤️. Fingers crossed, we could even get the tea sets back out! I have missed them!!
I’ll be working on some new menu choices & re vamping it a bit, like I’ve already said. I will keep you posted & try & do it as soon as possible. I’m just going to have a few days to myself first & catch my breath before the building work commences!! The online diary is still open & please feel free to message with any queries.
